About the Author
Cynthia Shrewsberry is the author of Who’s That Whale with the Funny Tail?, Sweet Pea Penelope, What Did You Do?, and now, Jonah and His Zoo Crew: The True Story of a Spectacular Sea Lion. Cynthia met Jonah in 2O18 when she began to volunteer at the Houston Zoo. She wrote this book after discovering that Jonah was a rescue sea
lion and had a great life story to share. Cynthia volunteers as a keeper’s aide for the Sea Lion Team at the zoo. She lives in Lake Charles, Louisiana, with her husband, Keith, and their four dogs. She works as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
